Har Ye Kan, AICP
Executive Director
Har Ye is a community planner who has collaborated with other West Michigan design/engineering teams on various strategic community projects in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Har Ye was born and raised in Singapore. Educated at the University of Cambridge, the Harvard University Graduate School of Arts & Sciences and the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, she has planned, designed, taught, and written on community-focused developments. Her professional work includes community engagement, and the planning and design of housing and neighborhoods, campuses, mixed-use suburban redevelopments, and age-friendly/child-friendly communities.

Greg Holcombe
Senior Advisor
Greg is an urban planner and community leader with extensive collaborative experience in urban planning, urban design, land development, greenway planning, energy and snowmelt planning, and urban transportation systems planning. In the last 30+ years, Greg has served as a consultant to the Riverview Group, Riverview Development Limited Partnership, Lumir Corporation, Hope College, the City of Holland, the City of Zeeland, the City of Grand Haven, and the City of Hudsonville. His responsibilities include project planning and management, raising equity capital, property acquisitions, construction, property leasing and management. Greg was born and raised in Holland, is a graduate of Holland High School, a summa cum laude graduate of Hope College, and earned his Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from the Kennedy School at Harvard University.

Impact Credit Partners is a structured tax credit equity provider focused on the preservation and sustainability of the communities they serve. Based in Grand Rapids, the firm has extensive experience in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, Energy Tax Credits, and Community Redevelopment projects.

Rich Lievense
Rich was the principal founder and Chairman of Lake Michigan Financial Corporation, which was established in 1998, along with InSite Capital, LLC, which was established in 2011. During his leadership tenure at both LMFC and InSite Capital, Rich successfully established and scaled tax credit originations by fostering and developing local community relationships and partners. Rich served as President of The Riverview Group and is on the board of Michigan Capital Partners.

Emily Cauzillo
Emily has over 10 years of experience working with developers on low-income housing, new markets, and historic tax credit projects throughout the country. With extensive experience originating, structuring, and underwriting financing solutions for real estate development projects, Emily will work closely with our development partners to find the best solutions possible for their project. Emily has a deep seeded passion for historic preservation and affordable housing. She currently serves as a board member of the Michigan Historic Preservation Network (MHPN) and as a Finance Committee Member of the Dwelling Place.

Peter Scudder
Peter is a certified public accountant with previous experience as a Senior Manager for an international public accounting firm, where he focused much of his time on advising financial institution clients on complex accounting matters. Pete began his career as a credit analyst at a publicly traded community bank, underwriting and analyzing commercial real estate financial transactions.
